LIVERPOOL kayaker Ashleigh Logan has a new iPod to play with while she flies to Europe this Friday.
The 16-year-old received the iPod shuffle from Domayne Liverpool Megacenta's Michael Oliverio as the April winner of the Leader's Junior Sports Star awards.
The teenager is heading to the Czech Republic to compete for the Australian under-18s team at the Junior World Championships.
The Western Sydney Academy of Sport kayaker will contest the slalom event and is optimistic months of training will pay dividends at the international event.
``I'm confident that I will do extremely well,'' she said.
``I'm going to paddle my heart out and paddle as hard as I can.''
Logan only recently fixed her kayak after damaging the shoulder of the boat in a training mishap.
